In a previous post, I briefly commented about goals. With the new year, I felt it appropriate to set a few personal goals for myself. Being that these are goals I want to achieve, I will make them somewhat reasonable.
My first goal will be to do something "active" 5 days a week. This can include, but is not limited to, surfing, tennis, basketball, running, the gym, etc. Please do not confuse this goal with the common "New Years Resolution to Lose Weight". I set this goal not to lose weight, but to take advantage of the health benefits that come with an active lifestyle.
My second goal will be to read more and watch TV less. There is no measurable goal I feel necessary to set, just a conscious effort to turn the TV off and open a book more often.
I think these are two reasonable goals for this coming year. I'll let you know how it goes. If I find time, maybe I'll post about my professional goals for 08.
