YoungLife

There is a group of high school guys I have been meeting with weekly on a fairly regular basis for the last two years. It is called "Campaigners", and it is more or less a time to hang out and talk about stuff, whether it be the bible, school, or life in general.

We got together tonight for what will probably be our last "Campaigners". They all graduated at the beginning of summer, and some are moving away to college, while others will be hanging out around Santa Cruz doing the community college thing.

As we at "Bruno Burgers" at Brunos BBQ, I couldn't help but be a little bummed about seeing them go. I am going to miss our time hanging out on Wednesday nights.

I can only hope that the the time we spent together and the things we talked about have prepared them a little more for the exciting journey ahead. I am definitely jealous. The college years are certainly some of the best. Hopefully they make good choices.

AMEN!

Good post.

(BTW I'm hoping/praying you're leading again next year... 'cause you're real good at it.)
