I decided to Go Green. I decided that at least one day a week I would like to bike/bus to work. Here is the adventure from day one.

- My name is Ryan Lipert, and I live in Santa Cruz, CA. I was born and raised in South Orange County. I went to UC Santa Cruz for my undergraduate studies. I recieved my degree in Business Management and Economics, and I never left. I now call Santa Cruz my home. I have a wonderful job in San Jose, where I work for and with some amazing people, in a field I am learning to love. I am a volunteer leader for YoungLife, where I have a strong passion and calling to love and serve high schoolers. I am also a member of Christian Life Center and have developed a strong sense of community and fellowship with some amazing people.

Wow, you must be kind of a big deal at Balch to have such a nice office....Leather couch too! Ryan Charles you inspire me to be a better person. I feel bad about not having a nice office, but I feel good about walking all the way to work each day.

Glad that's working out for you Son. I looked into taking the bus to work but my 20 minute drive would become a 1.5 hour trip. Too much more time out of my life to save a gallon of gas a day. TDI's are looking better all the time.
